Maintenance Technician

My client is seeking a motivated Maintenance & Reliability Technician to join our team in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a focus on safety and quality, and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely: identify risks and implement mitigation actions where required
• Respond promptly and appropriately to equipment failures or issues in a cross functional environment
• Record interventions, including failure codes, and provide preventative action solutions
• Execute planned maintenance routines: predictive, preventative, and calibration activities
• Complete Work Orders on time while ensuring safety, compliance, and accurate asset management data
• Provide clear written and verbal handovers to colleagues
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify enhancements to job plans and spare parts
• Support major equipment overhauls and manage vendor activities on site
• Contribute to training development and cross train colleagues
• Assist with cross functional tasks such as set up, sampling, and cleaning validation activities
• Work in teams applying Operational Excellence techniques to optimize processes
• Maintain audit readiness, high housekeeping standards, and timely completion of training

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical discipline
• 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, or GMP facility required
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability in every task
• High attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and openness to change
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver within scheduled timelines
