My client is seeking a motivated Maintenance & Reliability Technician to join our team in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a focus on safety and quality, and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Work safely: identify risks and implement mitigation actions where required
- Respond promptly and appropriately to equipment failures or issues in a cross functional environment
- Record interventions, including failure codes, and provide preventative action solutions
- Execute planned maintenance routines: predictive, preventative, and calibration activities
- Complete Work Orders on time while ensuring safety, compliance, and accurate asset management data
- Provide clear written and verbal handovers to colleagues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify enhancements to job plans and spare parts
- Support major equipment overhauls and manage vendor activities on site
- Contribute to training development and cross train colleagues
- Assist with cross functional tasks such as set up, sampling, and cleaning validation activities
- Work in teams applying Operational Excellence techniques to optimize processes
- Maintain audit readiness, high housekeeping standards, and timely completion of training
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical discipline
- 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, or GMP facility required
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability in every task
- High attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and openness to change
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver within scheduled timelines
