Supply Chain Sr. Data Analyst

This is a full-time permanent job based in Dublin .

What will you do in this job?

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
   • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, demand forecasting accuracy, and supplier performance.
2. Demand Forecasting:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts for various product lines.
   • Monitor demand patterns and adjust forecasts as necessary to optimize inventory levels.
3. Inventory Management:
   • Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
   • Implement strategies for reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
4. Supplier Performance Analysis:
   • Evaluate supplier performance metrics and work with procurement teams to enhance supplier relationships and performance.
   • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans for supply chain disruptions.
5. Process Improvement:
   • Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend improvements.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process enhancements and track their impact.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
   • Work closely with teams across the organization, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales, to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
7. Technology Utilization:
   • Utilize supply chain management software and analytics tools to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analysis, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Business Analyst in a related industry.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, SAP and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
