Quality Team Lead

Hiring: Quality Team Lead - Food Manufacturing | Naas, Co. Kildare

I'm working with a leading food manufacturing group based in Naas that is currently seeking a Quality Team Lead to oversee quality systems, food safety compliance, and team development.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong experience in FMCG or high-care food environments who is ready to take ownership of site-wide quality and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the QC team and drive food safety and quality systems across the site
• Manage internal audits, external audit readiness (BRC, customer, DAFM), and technical documentation
• Support supplier management and raw material approval processes
• Drive KPI tracking, customer complaint investigation, and continuous improvement
• Champion training in HACCP, hygiene, allergens, and induction programmes
• Act as a key technical contact for customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams

What You'll Bring:

• Diploma or degree in a Food Science-related field
• 4+ years in a similar role within food manufacturing or FMCG
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP and BRC
• Experience managing or mentoring technical teams
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills and technical awareness
• Lead Auditor certification is an advantage

Location: On-site in Naas, Co. Kildare (some travel required)
